STORY:  A cast of Rainbow Colours are rehearsing for their show, with each colour doing their special song and dance routine. When a gang of grungy Monochromes arrive on the scene and threaten to disrupt the proceedings, the brilliant Sun saves the day by encouraging teamwork, resulting in a spectacular production.

Key Stages 1 – 3 (age 5 – 14) ; Duration approximately 45 minutes ;  Cross Curricular Aspects include science, geography, language, literature, social education, citizenship, music, dance, drama, art and design

CAST:  to suit the number of performers available, the cast size is flexible with 15 to 30 evenly distributed speaking/singing parts and choruses ;  * = solo/small group singing part ;  ^ = solo/small group speaking part

Red*^, Orange*^, Yellow*^, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet Monochromes, Silhouettes, Shadows, Sun Choruses of each colour

SONGS:  eleven songs and dances explore a wide diversity of musical styles including ragtime, Charleston, rock ‘n roll, waltz, 5/4 Swing, round, and simple 2-part harmony.
